Technical Part - Bowling The bowling lane technology

The lane construction	is made of wood, using V100 chipboards only. Special small plates made of micro cellular rubber enabling proper sound absorption support these chipboards. Impact plastic only is used for profiles, e.g. for cappings and round gutter profiles.

The lane surface	made by Funk has been tested and approved by the American Bowling Congres ABC. The segment length of 5.6 metres offers a unique feature, i.e. the entire approach surface is just one segment without any problematical joint in the middle. The lane surface gains its outstanding consistence and stability from its thickness, combined with a surface stability exceeding 16000 rpm.

Return / ball lifter / ball accelerator	The ball lifters and accelerators are solely designed and produced from own production, with components, belts, and engines supplied by special and reliable companies. Impact plastic which has been successfully used for the past 18 years is taken as material for the return lane.

Bumper System	Today's business planning is more and more influenced by the increasing tendency towards celebrations of children's birthdays or children's bowling events to be held in bowling centres. The patented bumper system can either be activated by button or directly via the scoring control. We are also in the position to retrofit the bumper system upon request, regardless the system currently installed in your centre.

The Masking-Unit	(in front of the machines) from Funk consists of two pictures. Our artist Frank Brodowski will individually create the pictures by means of a special, manual airbrush according to your requests and ideas. A second picture will be integrated in the original picture that is visible under the influence of black light only. This picture will also be created in accordance with thematic material provided from your side.
